GPL leverages the massively successful growth with-in Texas Hold'em poker in order to offer you a unique opportunity.
We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service and satisfaction by offering a business model that works for you, as much as it does for us. Many of the existing poker leagues around the country put a lot of the burden on the venue to recruit players, and in some cases even charge the venue in order for the event to take place. We recognise that the purpose of introducing our poker at your venue is to increase your revenue whilst providing fun quality entertainment on the evening, and that the last thing you want is extra unnecessary cost.
So what's in it for you?
First of all, we work in partnership with you to recruit the players. All we ask you to do is work with us to market your venue by using our marketing material, this will consist of posters for your venue (A4), leaflets (A6) and the option of using one of our exterior banners which are all designed to let your regulars as well as new customers know that poker is being played at your venue. We already have a core base of avid poker players who are waiting for a new venue, where they can earn vital points for the end of season tournament. Your venue will also be featured on our website to inform these players, as well as being told of your venue from our fully trained event managers at the start of each evening at all events that take place, many of our new players have become regulars at the venue they were recruited for, meaning increased profit and repeat business for the venue.
We offer a full evening of entertainment that will cost you almost nothing to host, with none of the stress or management you might expect a poker evening to require.
What's in it for us?
We enjoy playing poker, meeting new people and working in partnership with venues to make a successful business. Players pay a fee to the venue (typically £7) for a venue cover charge. For this fee your venue is expected to provide a light meal for players during the break session. This meal can be something as simple as pizza and plate of sandwiches, or something like bangers and mash, remember these are your customers and you want their repeat trade so variety often helps. For hosting the evening we will invoice you £7 + VAT per player as our hosting charge. This effectively means you are providing the meal at your cost. Most venues have this expense down to around £1-2 per head. Usually meaning that the cost is recovered on the players first drink.

GPL realises that we only have a business if the venue is happy. So we work with you extensively to ensure you are getting the most out of our partnership. We welcome all prospective venues to contact our current venues for their view on how GPL operate with their business.
