Okay, so you may have played on-line, but until you play a real LIVE game of Poker you have not experienced the best.

We have our weekly league and Events taking place over the south east. The night starts at 7.30pm with two games of poker broken up by a meal for poker players. The event is managed by our fully trained Event Managers who are there to make sure things run smoothly and new players are given the tuition support and guidance they need to get the most out of live poker. We use professional poker equipment including high quality poker tables, and we have our own custom printed ceramic poker chips and use the best playing cards. All this for just £7* per night!

A well structured blind system, no single blind level will change the dynamic of the game. A chilled out, relaxed atmosphere with Event Managers that understand every player has a different skill level.
End of season tournaments that offer better value for money. We pay out ALL PRIZES IN CASH.

Want your public house involved?

We manage the whole event, provide all the equipment, work in partnership with you to promote the event and make sure everything runs smoothly. Absolute Magazine Meets Gunpowder!

Monday 12th October saw Absolute Magazine attending our biggest event to find out what all the fuss is about. Gunpowder Poker is becoming the fastest growing poker league in the UK, and is attracting the attention of new players and new venues alike, Absolute Magazine, Brightons best known life-style publication was there to find out why.

The Crown & Anchor is well known in our league for providing some the best food you can find in Sussex, and the night lived up to expectation with a top quality chicken curry, with rice and naan brea

GPL sponsored the event by putting up big cash prizes in the second game, and offering the players a chance to take part in an optional £5 small stakes game for the first period. We regularly attract 20+ players at this venue on a standard night, and had a massive 36 players there when Absolute attended.
